I wish you a warm welcome to my webpage! I am working as a counsellor and hypnotherapist both in person and online. My office is located in Cork city centre and it’s easily accessible. I specialise in working with general anxiety, social anxiety, separation anxiety, health anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, fears and phobias, low self-esteem, trauma, sleep issues, and stress management.

I like to think for myself that I am not a typical therapist. I drop a swear word from time to time and I believe that counselling and hypnotherapy sessions are not meant to be clinical and diagnosing. Rather, I like to create an atmosphere where you feel welcome to be yourself and feel comfortable in sharing all your thoughts and emotions.

The therapy journey is usually full of ups and downs. We will cry together, we will laugh together, and we will cherish all the positive changes you create for yourself. I promise I will support you, encourage you, and challenge you at times, so you can start feeling more empowered, confident and in control of your life.

Suffering from anxiety in the past, I know how scary and overwhelming it can be. I know the struggle of constant worry, fear, racing thoughts and feeling like something is wrong with you.

From our first session, I will focus on building a secure relationship with you by being authentic, transparent, and supportive, so you can be your true self without fear of judgment.

If you are seeking for more than traditional talk therapy, you are in the right place. I like to work with both body and mind to help you feel calmer, more relaxed and confident. Mindfulness, guided imagery and relaxation are just a few techniques I am using in work. As a result, you will be more attuned to your body’s signals, and you will know how to manage thoughts and emotions.

Therapy should extend beyond our sessions. I will provide practical tools and techniques that you can incorporate into your daily life. These may include stress management strategies, mindfulness practices, journaling exercises, personalised recording etc. Empowering you with these resources ensures that you continue to grow and thrive outside the therapy room.

Flexibility and accessibility

I offer flexible appointment times to accommodate your busy life. Apart from morning and afternoon, I am working some evenings and Saturdays. Additionally, I provide both in person and online sessions, making therapy accessible regardless of your location or circumstances.
